Beckham played around 70 minutes in the 0-0 draw with Vancouver Whitecaps yesterday. This will be his last competitive match before the England game against Austria next weekend. The good really news is that there appears to be remaining ill-effects from recent injuries.
The official announcement of the England squad will take place tomorrow, Steve McClaren is expected to include Beckham in the squad following his visit to LA for the charity match earlier this week.
