On Wednesday, Arsene Wenger was delighted to welcome the latest addition to his training squad as David Beckham arrived to hone his fitness ahead of an England friendly against Switzerland in early February.
Beckham will be seen sporting his usual number 23 in the slightly less familiar garb for him - an Arsenal training kit.... Wenger feels sure that Beckham will help to develop the younger players in the reserve squad and he will also be allowed to test his mettle with the senior squad in his month training in London.
The game against Switzerland will be the first game overseen by Fabio Capello as England manager and if all goes well, the 100th game that Beckham will have played for the national side.
