Beckham scores in Galaxy triumph

After the disappointing performance last weekend, The Galaxy redeemed themselves beating the San Jose Earthquakes 2-0 at the Home Depot ground. Beckham delighted the crowd by scoring in the eighth minute and setting up Donovan to score a second goal 20 minutes later. Again Becks played the full 90 minutes and was understandably jubilant after the game, feeling that he has at last started the job he came to do...
Beckhams first (and hopefully not the last) goal in the 2008 MLS season was matched by another personal record, a first ever clean-sheet for Los Angeles goalkeeper Steve Cronin...
LA Galaxy next play on Sunday Apr 13 when they host Toronto FC.

this definitely takes off some of the pressure he had at the beginning of the season. This was the Beckham we are used to seeing. Toronto will be a tough opponent but LA can pull out a win. Again playing 90mins will help him get more England caps.
